Art & Soul Yoga has recently sprung up at Art Share L.A., a nonprofit community arts center in Downtown LA. This new yoga studio offers four flow classes a week held on Thursday through Sunday with a recommended donation of just $5 per person. Laura Maly, Art Share board member, said: “I want to bring in anyone who wants to practice in a fun, creative atmosphere; anybody who wants to be a part of a yoga community and doesn’t have the means to do it.”

The Hotel Wilshire in Los Angeles gives us a new reason to do a staycation in our city this summer. Instead of offering hot yoga (the yoga du jour), this boutique hotel is teaming up with lululemon to offer cool – aqua yoga classes in its rooftop pool starting this month.

Last week at Soho House in West Hollywood, Jennifer Aniston co-hosted a party for her yoga teacher and friend Mandy Ingber for her new book Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover. Mandy has trained other yoga-loving celebs, such as Kate Beckinsale, who showed off her sculpted bod at the book launch as well.

On Facebook, owner of City Yoga, Anthony Benenati confirmed that the rumors were true... he and his wife Rebecca, have sold their City Yoga Studio City & City Yoga LA to YogaWorks.

In a sudden move that leaves the LA yoga community a little confused... Anthony announced that he and Rebecca will continue to teach at both studios. A relief to many of City Yoga's students.

The Studio City location will be closed down for one-week for rennovations.
