Power Yoga with Bryan Kest

So this is what it’s like to take class from a guru. He stills the room with how he connects with each student. Not a sound – not even breathing can be heard and there must be over 50 people on their mats. Bryan speaks and we all listen. He guides us through a solid flow, but with mind-expanding lessons along the way: “Respond versus react;” “Who said yoga is esoteric – it’s simple – breathe;” and “We develop the muscle we use – why not develop love.” We want to hang out, listen, talk and learn but we're moving quickly in this intelligent flow and sweating up a storm. The room is heated just by our effort and our transformation. It’s one heck of a class and as much of a "must-do" as The Santa Monica Pier down the street.
